The park-wide festivities are perfect for guests of all ages, featuring a brilliant midnight fireworks display, lively DJs spinning music throughout the park, and themed photo opportunities. Friends and families are invited to enjoy a fun-filled night set against the backdrop of exhilarating thrill rides and attractions.

Be ready to party at Hollywood’s biggest New Year’s Eve bash: Universal Studios Hollywood’s “EVE” event on December 31st! Guests are invited to fill their day with heart-pounding rides, shows, and attractions, then keep the excitement going as the park extends its hours until 2 AM. You can celebrate with multiple party areas featuring music, dancing, and themed photo opportunities, all leading up to an unforgettable midnight countdown and fireworks display. Make your New Year’s a truly exhilarating one!
Starting at 9 PM, guests can dance the night away across multiple live entertainment areas, each featuring a different musical style:
- Rock the Night: Head to Universal Plaza for Rock, Pop, and Hip-Hop from the resident DJ.
- Electric New Year: Get your energy up with an EDM DJ in Springfield.
- Latin Beat: Find a Latin DJ near the entrance to Jurassic World.
When midnight approaches, join family and friends for the special countdown and spectacular fireworks display! Prime viewing locations are available throughout the park, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™, Springfield, Universal Plaza, and the Lower Lot.
