Disney Parks Holiday Specials Return to ABC in December
ABC has set the official broadcast schedule for its 2025 Disney Parks holiday specials, confirming the return of two beloved seasonal traditions: The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular and the Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade.
Filming for both specials is already underway at Walt Disney World, where crews were recently spotted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom recording a performance by Mariah the Scientist in front of the iconic Tree of Life.

Holiday Broadcast Schedule Details
The Wonderful World of Disney: Holiday Spectacular will air on Monday, December 1, from 8–10 p.m. ET. Now in its 10th year, this two-hour celebration will feature new musical performances and festive park moments captured across Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort, and Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaiʻi.
The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade returns on Thursday, December 25. The Emmy Award-winning broadcast, celebrating its 40th anniversary, airs at 10 a.m. ET (check local listings for other time zones) and will feature parade segments and performances from Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Aulani.
These Disney Parks Holiday Specials have become a long-standing tradition on ABC, marking both the exciting start and the grand finale of the holiday season for Disney enthusiasts nationwide. Additional performers and specific broadcast details are expected to be announced as the air dates approach.
