The Elves Are Back! ‘Prep & Landing’ Returns This Thanksgiving
Get ready to unwrap the ultimate holiday treat! After more than a decade, everyone’s favorite Christmas elves are returning to the screen in Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol, a brand-new animated special premiering this Thanksgiving, November 27, on Disney Channel. The special will be available to stream the very next day on Disney+.

The fourth installment in the beloved holiday series, this new special rejoins Christmas elves Lanny and Wayne, whose latest holiday mission goes hilariously wrong. As Wayne finds himself convinced he’s on Santa’s naughty list, a series of merry mishaps accidentally get revealed, and the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center is thrown into delightful chaos.

Meet the Newest, Cutest Character
Adding to the festive fun is an adorable new character, Nog, a cute little fella who happens to be a seal pup. Nog, whose full name is Commodore Charles Eggnogginton III, joins Magee at the office and quickly becomes part of the elves’ adventures. This irresistible seal pup is featured in the new teaser trailer and key art, hinting at the endless hijinks to come.
Returning and New Voices
The original voice cast is back to spread the holiday cheer. Dave Foley reprises his role as the world-weary but dedicated elf, Wayne, alongside Sarah Chalke as the ambitious and eggnog latte-obsessed Command Center Coordinator Magee. Derek Richardson also returns as Wayne’s ever-agreeable partner, Lanny.
They are joined by a fantastic new lineup of talent, including Manny Jacinto as Renato, the North Pole’s most sought-after massage therapist; Dulcé Sloan as Janice, a clerk at the North Pole Post Office; and Danny Pudi as Chef Geoff, the master chef at the Fruitcake Factory. And of course, Christopher Swindle rounds out the cast as The Big Guy, a.k.a. Santa himself.

Throughout the holiday season, the special will also make its way to ABC and will be featured as part of Freeform’s iconic “25 Days of Christmas” lineup, making it a can’t-miss family event.
