The Beloved Fruit and Nutella Waffle Returns to Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom fans, rejoice! A year after a controversial menu change saw the beloved classic round waffles replaced by Mickey waffles at Sleepy Hollow, the original, fan-favorite waffle creations have made a triumphant return to Liberty Square. This highly anticipated comeback means guests can once again indulge in the iconic “waffle sandwiches” that have long been a staple snack at Magic Kingdom.

For many, the change to Mickey waffles was a disappointment, as the larger, round waffles were perfectly suited for holding the generous toppings that make Sleepy Hollow a must-stop. Now, the classic form factor is back, offering the perfect vessel for those delicious combinations.

The updated Sleepy Hollow menu once again features these delightful options, served on their traditional round waffles, folded in half to create those satisfying “waffle sandwiches”:

• Waffle with Berries, Powdered Sugar, and Whipped Cream – $8.49
• Waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, Bananas, Berries, and Whipped Cream – $9.49
• Waffle with Sweet-and-Spicy Maple Chicken – $12.29 (Served with Maple-Sriracha Glaze and Parsley Flakes)

The return of the Waffle with Chocolate-Hazelnut Spread, Bananas, Berries, and Whipped Cream is particularly exciting for many. This indulgent treat, often affectionately referred to as the “Nutella waffle,” was once a breakfast-only item but has been available all day since 2022, allowing guests to satisfy their sweet cravings at any time.

Sleepy Hollow, a charming quick-service spot, is nestled in Liberty Square, directly across from the festive Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. Keep an eye out for Ichabod Crane of “Sleepy Hollow” fame in the window! Beyond the returning waffle favorites, the quick-service menu also includes plain waffles, classic funnel cakes, savory corn dogs, house-made chips, and a variety of beverages. For June 2025, guests can also enjoy the special Pride Mousse Dome ($5.99), featuring Dark Chocolate and Strawberry Mousse, Flourless Chocolate Cake, and Rainbow Glaçage.
