CommuniCore Hall Prepares for 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts
Exciting changes are underway at EPCOT as preparations ramp up for the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, running from January 17 through February 24. CommuniCore Hall, EPCOT’s flexible event space, has closed to make way for a dazzling transformation in time for this highly anticipated festival. With purple window displays now obscuring views inside, Disney is setting the stage for a new era of creativity and entertainment at this versatile venue.

This year, CommuniCore Hall will shine with a marquee offering: Once Upon A Stage: 30 Years of Disney on Broadway. This special exhibit celebrates Disney’s rich Broadway legacy, spotlighting productions like The Lion King and Aladdin. Guests will enjoy captivating displays featuring costumes, set pieces, and behind-the-scenes stories from these beloved adaptations. Adjacent to the Hall, CommuniCore Plaza will host the Opening Bites Food Studio, offering culinary delights inspired by the foods and drinks immortalized on stage—a feast for both the eyes and the palate.
The Hall has primarily served as a home for festival food booths and merchandise in the past, but this year’s transformation marks a significant expansion of its role. Disney fans can look forward to an immersive experience that brings the magic of Broadway to life. Meanwhile, festivalgoers can still enjoy the signature Disney on Broadway Concert Series at the America Gardens Theatre, featuring show-stopping performances from stars like Patti Murin (Frozen), Adam Jacobs (Aladdin), and Jelani Remy (The Lion King). With three nightly showtimes and a rotating lineup of talented artists, it’s a must-see for any Broadway enthusiast.

Beyond the entertainment, the festival’s Food Studios promise to delight art and food lovers alike. Returning favorites like The Deconstructed Dish and Pastoral Palate join a colorful lineup of global cuisines, from El Artista Hambriento in Mexico to Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina near Morocco and France. Whether you’re savoring a Chorizo and Potato Empanada or a whimsical Taiyaki from Japan, each dish is a masterpiece of flavor and presentation.
As EPCOT continues its transformation into a park that celebrates the wonders of the world and beyond, the 2025 Festival of the Arts is poised to be one of its most memorable events yet. Be sure to mark your calendars and prepare to explore this stunning intersection of creativity, cuisine, and Broadway magic!
