Eugene Campbell, vice president of domestic minority business development for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, was honored as this year’s Hispanic Community Champion at the annual Don Quijote Awards, which recognize business excellence, dedication to service and outstanding professionalism in Central Florida’s Hispanic community.
Campbell, who was one of the five honorees announced at the ceremony, said the award is the result of a true team effort.
“Disney’s contributions to the Hispanic business community stem from a commitment across the company to support the growth, development, expansion and increased utilization of minority-owned business enterprises,” Campbell said. “Our efforts are all about building solid partnerships with diverse businesses, community leaders and organizations, locally as well as nationally.”
The Hispanic Business Initiative Fund of Florida, Inc., and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando created the Don Quijote Awards to recognize top Hispanic entrepreneurs, professionals and leaders in the region.
