His distinctive voice graced numerous other Disney attractions over the years, including Captain Nemo in Walt Disney World’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Abraham Lincoln in The Hall of Presidents (from 1994–2008), the narrator in the Disneyland version of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and the narrator in The Walt Disney Story. His contributions also extended to the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Adventure Thru Inner Space, and the Mark Twain Riverboat.
Beyond his work at Disney parks, Renaday’s voice acting talents reached a wider audience. He notably voiced the wise and patient Splinter in the iconic “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” cartoon series in the late 1980s, further solidifying his place in pop culture history.
Renaday’s passing leaves a void in the Disney community, but his legacy will live on through the countless characters he brought to life with his remarkable voice. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time. Thank you for the magic, Pete.
