We are just a few days away from the kickoff of Halloween Horror Nights 33 at Universal Orlando Resort, with the team member preview slated to take place on Tuesday, Premium Scream Night on Thursday, and the first official Halloween Horror Nights regular event on Friday. As we head into the home stretch, we are seeing the Scare Zone sets really start to come together around the park!

While many of the key aspects of the scare zones have been covered to keep them under wraps until the season kicks off, you can definately get an idea of the overall feel and theme based on what is not covered by tarps.
The first scare zone you will encounter upon entering the park is actually a two-for-one: Duality of Fear. This scare zone will ask you to choose your terror, with the the visceral horror of SINIST3R or the unearthly terror of SURR3AL as options.
Continuing on down through the Hollywood Section, you will come upon Demon Queens. This scare zone thrusts guests into an otherworldly hellscape dominated by four merciless queens, each loyal to the enigmatic force known as SURR3AL.
The area just beyond Central Park Crepes that serves as a bit of a terror funnel for folks walking through the area is the home of Swamp of the Undead this year.
In the eerie backwaters of Louisiana, this scare zone brings the swamp to life with undead horrors. The sets include murky waters, dense foliage, and decaying shacks that evoke the isolation of the bayou.
The New York Section in front of the Mummy is once again the home of both a Scare Zone and this years Halloween Tribute Store. The Scare Zone in this area is Torture Fare, and a shipping container with themed spray paint has been installed to serve as the entrance to the Tribute Store.
Torture Faire invites guests to step into a twisted renaissance faire where medieval torture devices are on full display, and the only entertainment is the suffering of others. The sets are elaborately detailed with historical accuracy and gruesome enhancements, featuring iron maidens, racks, and other devices of torment.
Moving back toward the San Francisco area (near Fast and Furious, just before Diagon Alley), you will find the Enter the Blumhouse Scare Zone, a local where you will be immersed in several Blumhouse Films (list) as well as encounter the M3GAN Horde!
Films purported to be represented in this area include: The Purge, Freaky, M3GAN, The Black Phone, and Happy Death Day (Franchise).
