Gone are the pristine service elevators. In their place, visitors will find the elevators marked with the scorch marks left behind by the paranormal lightning strike that supposedly struck the Hollywood Tower Hotel on Halloween night, 1939. These cracks and charring, reminiscent of the original queue design, add another layer of spooky immersion to the pre-show.

This restoration ties directly to the Tower of Terror’s backstory. The five guests who vanished from the hotel elevator that fateful night are said to have been swept into the fifth dimension. Now, it’s your turn to step into those very same service elevators and potentially face the same fate!
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror celebrated its 30th anniversary on July 22nd, 2024, and to mark the occasion, there’s new merchandise available to commemorate this chilling milestone!
