Gingerbread BoardWalk Deli and Sweet Treats Arrive at Disney’s BoardWalk with Special Surprise

The holiday Gingerbread display has arrived at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is enchanting guests this holiday season with a delightful twist on its traditional gingerbread display. The newly unveiled BoardWalk Deli gingerbread creation, a delightful addition to the resort’s lobby, is sporting an updated look this year!

This year’s BoardWalk Deli gingerbread marvel is now sports a charming, rounded roof and two gabled roofs. The windows of the display feature the silhouettes of Mickey’s friends, brought to life with tiny lights under awnings, creating a warm, festive glow. The orange bird clock is a nice touch, and is a real working clock!

The display was meticulously constructed with 184 pounds of both whole and light rye flour, 168 eggs, 22 gallons of honey, and 30 pounds of fondant, taking a total of 210 hours to create.

Visitors can indulge in the holiday spirit and purchase specialty sweet treats from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the BoardWalk lobby. Among these delights is the BoardWalk gingerbread house pin, available for $19.99 at the treats kiosk.

And for those looking to add a little warmth to their visit, the kiosk also offers hot chocolate for $6.49. Guests have the option to elevate their drink with a selection of cordials or spirits, including Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, Frangelico, DISARONNO Originale, Kahlúa, and Grand Marnier, ranging from $13.50 to $14.50.
