Disney World 50th Anniversary Medallions Removed from Disney Statues

The character statutes around Walt Disney World no longer bear the Disney World 50th Anniversary medallions.

The golden Fab 50 character collection statues installed as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration are staying, but they look a little different now that the anniversary celebration has ended: Disney has removed the 50th-anniversary medallions from the statues.

All of the Fab 50 character collection statues will remain in place, but the medallions that celebrated the 50th anniversary have been removed.

The statues were a significant part of the 50th anniversary celebration, and are a great addition to the 4 parks. If you have a Magic Band +, you can wave your hand to get different reactions from each sculpture.
