Liver Lips Renamed for Upcoming Country Bear Jamboree Update

The upcoming update to Country Bear Jamboree to result in name change for Liver Lips

During Destination D23, Disney announced an upcoming update to Country Bear Jamboree that will result in new music (and a new act) for the lovable bears. The updated show poster that was shared with the announcement points to another update-a new name for Liver Lips.

While the other bears, including Big Al, Trixie, and Henry, retain their current names on the poster, Liver Lips appears to have been re-named to Romeo McGrowl.

We will need to await additional details about the updated show to determine if the new name is permanent for Liver Lips or simply an updated stage name for a specific part of the show.

Country Bear Jamboree is an attraction in Frontierland section of Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World that carries a bit of nostalgia for long-time Disney fans. The attraction, which was an opening day attraction back in 1971, features Audio-Animatronic bears that perform on stage in Grizzly Hall.

The description of the show on the Walt Disney World website invites guests to “Clap along as 18 Audio-Animatronics hillbilly bears play and sing during this 16-minute, foot-stompin’ cele-bear-tion. You’ll hear a medley of original and classic tunes—all performed by the zaniest critters in the woods.”
