Walt Disney World resort is well known for its amazing July 4th celebrations. While fireworks won’t be available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom will be hosting a series of special events and performances to commemorate the occasion. EPCOT Independence Day Extravaganza
EPCOT, the park known for its celebration of cultures and innovation, will be open from 9 am to 9 pm on July 4th. To kick off the day, early entry will be available from 8:30 am to 9:00 am for on-property guests.
One of the highlights of the evening will be the enchanting fireworks show titled “The Heartbeat of Freedom,” which will take place at 9 pm. Following the regular nightly performance of “EPCOT Forever,” this patriotic spectacle promises to dazzle visitors and create an atmosphere of awe and admiration.
In addition to the fireworks, guests can enjoy the enchanting vocals of the a cappella vocal group, Voices of Liberty, as they perform beloved numbers from the American songbook. Taking place beneath the iconic rotunda in The American Adventure, this performance is sure to stir feelings of national pride and appreciation.
Throughout the day, beloved Disney characters will also be dressed in “Spirit of ’76” attire, ready to meet and interact with guests at The American Adventure. It’s an opportunity to capture memorable photos and share in the excitement of the holiday with your favorite Disney pals.
To satisfy your taste buds, EPCOT will feature special patriotic bites and sips in honor of the nation’s birthday. From the Fourth of July Fruit Tart, a delectable blackberry custard topped with fresh berries and a vanilla panna cotta popsicle, to the exclusive Fourth of July Liege Waffle available at Connections Café, there are unique culinary delights to indulge in during this limited-time celebration.

Magic Kingdom’s All-American Fun
At Magic Kingdom, the enchantment of Independence Day will extend from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, allowing for an entire day of immersive experiences and entertainment. Early entry will be available from 8:30 am to 9:00 am for on-property guests, enabling guests to be among the first to experience the magic of the park.
The highlight of the evening will be “Disney’s Celebrate America! – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” presented at 9:20 pm on both July 3 and July 4. This spectacular fireworks show will light up the night sky, painting a vivid picture of patriotic colors and capturing the essence of the nation’s spirit.
Additionally, DJ parties will be held throughout the park on both nights, creating an energetic and festive atmosphere. While “Happily Ever After” will not be shown on these special nights, the unique celebration promises to leave you captivated and filled with a sense of national pride.
