We are getting our first glimpse of Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota in the upcoming Haunted Mansion movie
On today’s list of cool things to see on the internet: Jaime Lee Curtis as Madame Leota. Curtis is playing Madame Leota in the upcoming Haunted Mansion film, and Entertainment Weekly has shared exclusive photos of Curtis from the film.

The image, shared with Entertainment Weekly by Disney, shows Leota (played by Curtis) inside the character’s trademark crystal ball. The image of Leota’s other-worldly head is immediately recognizable by Disney fans all over the world as a callback to The Haunted Mansion attraction.
Curtis is joined by an all-star cast that includes Rosario Dawson, Tiffany Haddish, Owen Wilson, Jared Leto, Jaime Lee Curtis, and Danny Davito for the upcoming Haunted Mansion film. The plot of the film centers around a mother (played by Dawson) and son (played by Chase W. Dillon) who move into a mansion that is evidently haunted. The duo is aided by a psychic (Dawson), a priest (Wilson), a historian (Davito), and a paranormal expert (LaKeith Stanfield) as they attempt to navigate the mysteries and terror of the mansion, which include the famous Hat Box Ghost (Leto) and Madame Leota (Curtis).
The Haunted Mansion, directed by Justin Simien and written by Katie Dippold, will hit theaters on July 28, 2023.
