Jon Kasdan Offers an Update on Willow Season 2 has been Delayed Not Canceled

Willow Producer Jon Kasdan is setting the record straight regarding the “cancellation” of Willow after news broke yesterday that Disney was scrapping the series after only one season. Kasdan took to Twitter with a lengthy and nuanced discussion of the franchise’s future and the series. You can see his original tweet below:

While the cast has been released to work on other projects, Kasdan reaffirmed that he and others would fight to make Volume 2 of Willow a reality sometime in the future. Kasdan asked the fans to save their “fight” to promote social change and fight the “real outrages in the world.”

He ended by thanking the fans for all their support and promised great things lie ahead. Do you think that Willow will make a return? Please let us know what you think in a comment.
