Chip & Company Week in Review, October 17, 2011

While my friend Ken is off basking in the Magic that only Disney provides, I’m back with you again this week for the Chip & Company Week in Review.  Here are the stories that caught our eye last week:

  • Patrick reports to us that Disney has changed the dates for ‘The Lone Ranger’, ‘Thor 2’, and ‘Phineas and Ferb: The Movie.’
  • Did you see the post about the new interactive character at Disney’s Hollywood Studios?  If not, take a look at Cubot and watch the video!
  • Do you watch the Disney Christmas Day Parade?  Ever wanted to be part of the audience for the taping of the program?  Then check out this post for more information!
  • Our friends the Disney VoluntEARS recently participated in the 4th annual CANstruction Orange County competition.  Click on the link to see what structure they created!
  • PixieMichele reported to us the other day that Disney Advanced Dining Reservations will now require a credit card to hold the reservation.  This will be effective on October 26th, 2011.
  • The latest Disney resort, Art of Animation, will open phase one of the resort starting on May 31st.  Do you have your reservations in yet?
  • In the category “The next show my daughter might want to watch”, the Pixie Hollow Games will premier on Saturday, November 19th, on the Disney Channel.
  • Continuing in the Disney Fairies discussion, the new Disney Fairies Magazine hit the newsstands last week.
  • With ‘The Muppets’ release date fast approaching, Disney has unveiled a new trailer for the movie.
  • Lastly, Microsoft has released gameplay footage from the upcoming game ‘Kinect: Disneyland Adventures’.

That’s our look at some of the news stories from last week, now let’s take a look at some of the incredible original articles that our writers produce each and every day!  Enjoy!

  • Looking to go to Walt Disney World, but don’t want to go broke in the process?  Then take a look at these Money Saving Tips for Walt Disney World.
  • Jodi writes to us about what is lurking at Walt Disney World after Dark.  Sounds spooky!
  • Finally, Brenda shares a quick tip with us – Mousekeeping!

That’s all we have for you this week.  I hope you have a terrific week, and remember to check out Chip & Company often for the latest in Disney News, Views, Giveaways, and more!  Also, to keep up with the latest Disney news and views on the fly, check out the Chip & Company Facebook Page or follow Chip & Company via Twitter!
