Aubrey Plaza is joining Kathryn Hahn in the upcoming Marvel Studios series “Agatha: Coven of Chaos” for Disney+.
Details about Audrey Plaza’s role are being kept under wraps, but she is believed to be playing a villain opposite Agatha Harkness.
The role marks a reunion of sorts for Plaza and Hahn, as both previously appeared in the NBC sitcom “Parks and Recreation.”
Emma Caulfield Ford is also set to reprise the role of Dottie from “WandaVision” in the new series, while Variety exclusively reported that “Heartstopper” star Joe Locke will also star in “Coven of Chaos.”

The villainous witch first appeared in the MCU’s WandaVision. Kathryn Hahn’s character initially poses as the two hero’s friendly neighbor Agnes who is constantly looking in on Wanda and Vision in the sitcom-like Westview. It is ultimately revealed she is the ancient Agatha, who killed all members of her Salem coven including her mother in 1693 and has been subtly manipulating events in Westview in the hopes of claiming Wanda’s powers for herself.
“WandaVision,” the first live-action MCU show on Disney+, racked up 23 Emmy nominations upon its debut, including one for Hahn for best supporting actress in a limited series. One of the show’s win came in the best original music and lyrics category for the song “Agatha All Along,” which was used as part of the reveal that Hahn’s character was not who she appeared to be.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos is expected to drop on Disney+ next year.
