Universal Orlando files new permit for hotel in Epic Universe
Universal is currently working on a new park in Orlando called Epic Universe. More details about the hotels coming to the area are being leaked. One hotel could even be completed before the theme park is finished!

Orlando Business Journal is reporting that a hotel located inside Epic Universe is expected to be finished well before the park thanks to Real Capital Analytics, a database of commercial real estate transactions updated in real-time. This new hotel will be a “500-unit, full-service hotel developed by Universal Studios to be completed by Q4 2023.” That is more than a year before Epic Universe is scheduled to be done in 2025. The hotel is speculated to be on the north side of the park, near a third chapter of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Universal has also filed a permit for a second hotel at the Epic Universe site. This hotel will be a 750-room unit expected to be built along Universal Boulevard. Not much is known about this hotel but both will bring Universal Orlando’s hotel total to 10.
