GKTW Village Operating at Full Capacity, Cancels Night of a Million Lights 2022. This article is tough for us to write, we don’t know how to be so happy for a non-profit that has the support of our whole community and we personally love, and then be upset that we are losing one of the best events of the year here in Central Florida. All for good reasons!
We got word yesterday that “Night of a Million Lights” is discontinued. Give Kids the World is back to operating at full capacity, which is truly amazing, as more and more families can spend a week enjoying all the wonders of the Village.
“As we continue our 36-year legacy of spreading joy, optimism & hope to critically ill children & their families, we are excited to share that GKTW Village is back to operating at full capacity. In order to remain focused on our mission to create life-changing experiences & unforgettable memories for wish families, we have made the decision to discontinue hosting Night of a Million Lights at the Village.
We are grateful to all of the volunteers, partners, guests, donors & community members who made the event possible, & whose support will enable us to fulfill countless wishes. We have many new & unique events planned in the coming months & look forward to sharing the details with you.”
