Disney files permits for more work to be done on the closed Blizzard Beach Water Park
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park has been closed since January. The park has been under refurbishment which was originally supposed to be finished in March. Now, Disney has filed more permits for continued work on the water park.

Three permits have been filed for the Melt-Away Bay, a gentle wave pool that takes up a full acre of space at the theme park. Page Piping, the contractor listed, seems to be working on the pipes that help fill the large pool.

With all of the permits that have been filed for Disney’s Blizzard Beach, it appears that guests will return to an almost brand new water park! There’s still no reopening date for the park but we can’t wait to visit when it does reopen.
