Actor Paul Sorvino, who starred in Disney’s Rocketeer and critically acclaimed films such as Goodfellas, has passed away at age 83.
His wife, Dee Dee, was by his side in Indiana Monday morning when he passed away from natural causes.
“Our hearts are broken, there will never be another Paul Sorvino, he was the love of my life, and one of the greatest performers to ever grace the screen and stage,” Dee Dee Sorvino said in a statement released by publicist Roger Neal.

Born in Brooklyn in 1939, Sorvino attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York, where he fell in love with theater.
His original career dream was to sing, but he found success in his path as an actor. Paul’s acting credits include such films as Goodfellas, Nixon, Dick Tracy, The Rocketeer, For the Love of Money, That Championship Season, Reds, A Touch of Class and Oh, God! among many others. On television he starred on Seasons 2 and 3 of Law & Order and on Broadway in That Championship Season.
