Disney Resort Pool Refurbishments coming in 2024

Walt Disney World updates and refreshes offerings at the resorts from time to time. Updates will be coming to some resort hotel pools in early 2024.

The following Disney Resort hotel feature pools will be unavailable from approximately January through April 2024 as they undergo routine maintenance:

Fantasia Pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
Fuentes del Morro Pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
Doubloon Lagoon at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

At Disney’s All-Star Movies’ Fantasia Pool, Sorcerer Mickey sprays water at this expansive pool inspired by the classic Disney film.

The Fuentes del Morro pool at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is a zero-entry pirate’s paradise, themed like a colonial Spanish fortress. Swashbuckling adventurers can zip by on one of 2 waterslides—including one measuring 102 feet long—and feel the spray of man-of-war-cannons.

Doubloon Lagoon at Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter is a Mardi Gras-themed pool area where King Neptune sits astride a giant sea serpent. Scale “Scales,” as he’s affectionately known, and slide down his tongue for a splash landing.
