Star Wars fans were shocked to see Zach Braff’s name among the credits of the latest Obi-Wan Kenobi episode.
The new episode featured Zach Braff as Freck, an alien Obi-Wan and Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair) encounter while trying to escape an Imperial-controlled mining planet.
Zach Braff is clearly excited to be a part of the Star Wars universe and shared cool behind-the-scenes photos of his time on Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Obi-Wan Kenobi sees the return of Ewan McGregor to the Star Wars universe, as he reprises his iconic role as the titular Jedi master, whom he famously portrayed in George Lucas’ prequel trilogy. It also features the return of fellow Star Wars alums Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, and Bonnie Piesse as Beru Lars.
Joining the returning Star Wars alums are franchise newcomers Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals), Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Rupert Friend (Homeland), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Sung Kang (F9: The Fast Saga), Simone Kessell (Of Kings and Prophets), and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems).
