Lucasfilm is reportedly shortening the series length of the upcoming Star Wars: Andor show.
As of now, Lucasfilm has given very few details about the series. The series underwent several delays due to the pandemic. It’s also entirely plausible that the original plans have changed.
Andor’s director of photography reveals the Star Wars show was originally planned to air for five seasons. But, now Andor might finish its story with three. He said this during an interview on a Brazillian TV channel.

The series will be set five years before Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and follow Cassian Andor during his formative years as a Rebel Spy. Diego Luna returns as Andor after starring as the character in the 2016 film.
An air date has not been set. But, hopefully new details emerge about the series at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim next month!
