Are you ready for some exciting MagicBand+ updates? We learned last September that Disney is planning to release a new version of their MagicBands, which will be known as MagicBand+. The new bands will have all kinds of special features that the old ones did not. We just got a sneak peek at the Star Wars MagicBand+ that Disney has released. Bonus points that we also get a look at this cool Bounty Hunter mark in Galaxy’s Edge. That’s fitting too since one of the band’s special features will be that guests will be able to impersonate a Bounty Hunter by tracking bounties around Galaxy’s Edge. And most exciting of all: the new MagicBand+ devices will be debuting later this year!

We already know a few of the unique features these bands will be equipped with. They include haptic vibrations, customizable color-changing lights, gesture recognition, and interactions with nighttime spectaculars like Harmonious and Disney Enchantment. The bands also interact with the gold character statues around Walt Disney World theme parks. This is all on top of what regular MagicBands already do!

Disney has already revealed several of the new MagicBand+ designs, but we are excited to see this Star Wars version! Plus, we are learning even more about what these bands will allow us to do at the parks! They will release sometime later this year, so keep checking back for more revelations!
