Another log boat incident in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland! A boat sinks again on the Splash Mountain for guests riding the attraction.
A few days ago, guests were evacuated from Splash Mountain due to their boat sinking. Anyone who plans to ride Magic Kingdom’s Splash Mountain knows they’re going to get soaked with water. After all, it is implied in the ride’s name. But no one expects to sink underwater!

A viral TikTok video shows the log flume sinking under water towards the end of the ride at Walt Disney World.
You can see what it looked like from a TikTok video shared by a guest. TikTok user @danglin90 shared the video of their experience. You can watch it by clicking here.
The good news is that looks like all guests were able to exit the boat safely. The incident took place on March 28th, 2022.
What caused the Splash Mountain ride vehicle to take on water is unknown at this time. However, we will post updates if more information becomes available.
