Craving some delicious Mexican treat? This Mangonada Smoothie will satisfy that craving for sure!
A mix of sweet, salty and spicy flavors makes this drink perfect to beat the heat on those sunny days. In fact did you know that adding salt to a sweet treat helps release the sugar flavors and bring out even more of the sweetness? No wonder this smoothie is so good!
You can usually find it at Hollywood Land in Disney California Adventure but now you can also recreate it at home with this super easy recipe:
MANGONADA SMOOTHIE
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup of pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup of guava juice
- 1 cup of frozen mango chunks
- 1/2 cup of peach chunks
- 1 whole fresh banana, peeled
- 4 tsp of chamoy sauce, divided
- 1/2 cup of fresh chopped mango
- 1/2 tsp of chili-lime seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS:
- Combine pineapple juice, guava juice, frozen mango chunks, frozen peach chunks, and banana in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Drizzle 1 tsp of chamoy sauce inside walls of two drinking glasses. Divide smoothie mixture into glasses, add 1/4 cup of fresh mango to each cup, drizzle another 1 tsp of chamoy sauce in each glass, and sprinkle 1/4 tsp of chili-lime seasoning on each.
