As the streaming contract comes to an end between Marvel and Netflix all six live-action Marvel shows will be removed from Netflix beginning March 1st. The news comes after warnings in various international markets now share a warning before the Marvel episodes stating that the series’ will no longer be available to stream after February 28th.

Though the shows were originally stated to occur within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the shows never truly addressed the events of the films and there are minimal references within the films and Disney+ Marvel shows. There is a good chance that if other Netflix series characters make their official debut in the MCU like like Charlie Cox’s Daredevil/Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin the original shows will have taken place in an alternate universe.

We fully expect Marvel Studios to retcon the appearance of these characters and more in future MCU titles such as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and Loki Season 2. Though an official announcement has not been made it is safe to assume that Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Punisher, and The Defenders will be moved to either Hulu or Disney+. My gut says we will most likely see these shows added to Hulu due to mature content.
