Today the Supreme Court blocked the federal government’s mandate for large workplaces to have a COVID-19 vaccine-or-test requirement.
The mandate would’ve required workers at companies with at least 100 employees to show proof of a Covid-19 vaccine or be tested each week and wear a mask while at work. It would’ve applied to roughly 84 million workers.

Individual companies can still issue mandates though state legislation can affect them. Walt Disney World was requiring cast members to be vaccinated but that mandate has been paused due to Florida legislation.

Universal Orlando recently announced a new vaccination and testing policy for employees to coincide with the federal mandate. There’s no news on if that will be changed now that the federal mandate has been blocked.
