On Sunday, January 9, 2022 news broke late in the day that comedian and actor Bob Saget had passed away while on tour in Florida at the age of 65. According to a report from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. The report also stated that detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case.
The news of Bob’s passing was confirmed by his family in a statement reading, “We are devastated to confirm that our beloved Bob passed away today [January 9th]. He was everything to us and we want you to know how much he loved his fans, performing live and bringing people from all walks of life together with laughter. Though we ask for privacy at this time, we invite you to join us in remembering the love and laughter that Bob brought to the world.”

Saget was best known for playing Danny Tanner on ABC’s hit series Full House. He was also the first to host America’s Funniest Home Videos.
