Disney parks strongly support conservation efforts and keeping our earth clean. Yesterday we found out that Disney has plussed its efforts with Cast Member uniforms! Epcot cast members are now wearing shirts made from recycled plastic.

The Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment Facebook page shared all about these new shirts!
“If you’re out and about at EPCOT, you may notice that the Festivals Team is sporting a new Costume shirt! This new shirt is more than just the color green – it’s also helping remove discarded plastics from our environment. Each shirt is made, in part, from plastic bottles that were at risk of polluting the ocean. That’s what we call sustainable style!”

Not only are the shirts the color green, but they are also environmentally green! It seems that only Festival cast members are wearing these new shirts right now, so next time you visit Epcot during a festival, be on the lookout!
