'The Rocketeer' Sequel is Coming to Disney+

‘The Rocketeer‘ Sequel is Coming to Disney+. Disney has announced a sequel to the 1991 classic The Rocketeer named “The Return of the Rocketeer is in development for Disney+. According to Deadline: “The Return of the Rocketeer will have an all-new creative directive, with Ricourt’s story focusing on a retired Tuskegee airman who takes up the Rocketeer mantle.”

Currently, David and Jessica Oyelowo from Yoruba Saxon are joined by Brigham Taylor as producers for the project, with Mortal Media acting as executive producer for the Disney+ Original Movie. Edward Ricourt is penning the script for The Return of the Rocketeer.

No official casting choices have been made at the time of writing. This is a developing story, so be sure to check back here at Chip and Company for updates and all things Disney!
