Dominique Thorne to Appear as Riri Williams in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'

Dominique Thorne to appear as Riri Williams in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.’ Filming for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has begun and this week, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige shared that Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams will debut in the sequel film before leading her own Marvel series on Disney+.

Feige shared the news during an interview for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, coming to theaters on September 3rd, stating: “We’re shooting Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, right now, and the character of Riri Williams, you will meet in Black Panther 2 first. She started shooting, I think, this week before her Ironheart series.”

For those who are not familiar with Riri in the comics, “Riri Williams is a super-genius, with a strong focus on electrical engineering, computer science, and physics. She seems to be on the same level as Tony Stark was at her age. With perhaps a bit less of an inventive vision, but better access to information. She apparently can enter a state of flow at will.“
