‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Star Wars Disney+ Series Has Finished Filming. Though we are still waiting for confirmation from the studio, enough stars have shared they have finished filming for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series leading us to believe that principal photography has wrapped for Lucasfilm. The series is currently slated to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in 2022.

Star Wars newcomer Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) shared a touching post about the cast and her excitement for the series, sharing to Instagram: “Being a part of this amazing beast #obiwankenobi has been a trip. Fabulous cast of lovely people brilliant director Deborah Chow And the loveliest crew of creatives. I cannot wait to see the result of everyone’s incredible work and talent on the screen. Thank you ?? May the force be with you”

Series Lead Ewan McGregor is joined by fellow Revenge of the Sith stars Hayden Christensen (Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader), Joel Edgerton (Owen Lars), and Bonnie Piesse (Beru Lars). The Star Wars alumni will be joined by Star Wars newcomers Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Kumail Nanjiani (Marvel’s Eternals), Sung Kang (the Fast & Furious franchise), O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Rupert Friend (Homeland), Simone Kessell (Terra Nova), and Benny Safdie (Good Time) in unspecified roles.
