New Set Photos Feature Halle Bailey as Ariel in Iconic Burlap Dress. Filming is now underway for Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid” and new set photos give us one of our first look at Halle Bailey in costume as filming begins on the Island of Sardinia off the coast of Italy.

The Cast for Disney’s Live-Action The Little Mermaid currently includes Halle Bailey (Ariel), Jonah Hauer-King (Prince Eric), Melissa McCarthy (Ursula), Javier Bardem (King Triton), Jacob Tremblay (Flounder), Emily Coates (Unspecified, rumored: Vanessa), Daveed Diggs (Sebastian), Awkwafina (Scuttle) and Noma Dumezweni (unspecified).
