Main Street Confectionery has temporarily moved into a new location. They have moved into Main Street Cinema for the time being. Work was started last week for improvements to the store, to get it ready for Disney Worlds 50th Anniversary. We were at the Magic Kingdom today to witness some of the changes going on in the park and to stop in and take some photos and video to show. Linked below is the Instagram video showing some of the changes.
This iconic location will soon receive a fresh new look, expanded layout with more room to shop and interactive opportunities to customize your confections like never before. There is no word on how long this refurbishment should take. Disney is also closing The Chapeau this month for refurbishment, the new location for getting ears, hats, and more is across the street at Box Office Gifts, at the Town Square Theater.
