Nothing says “Disney vacation” quite like a Dole Whip. Thank goodness there are enough varieties to have a different kind each day of your stay! While there only used to be only Pineapple Dole Whip, only available in the Magic Kingdom, now there are multiple locations and flavors. Disney Springs has become somewhat of a hotspot for Dole Whips at Marketplace Snacks. It’s there you’ll find the newest variety: the Minnie Dole Whip Watermelon Cup
A secret menu item, available only through January 31st, this treat is pretty and sweet, just like Minnie herself! It starts with a bright pineapple mousse at the bottom, an homage to the original tart dessert. Strawberry white chocolate crunchy beads are layered on top of that, providing a great texture switch-up. Then comes the Watermelon Dole Whip, crowned with chocolate Minnie ears and a bow. Overall, it’s a unique take on the Dole Whip and a nice departure from the typical cup/cone or float choices!

The flavors are tropical and fresh, like a sweet fruit bowl topped with chocolate. It’s refreshing to have something like watermelon in the winter too when usually heavier flavors come into play. The little beads are crunchy, which is another nice change, besides which they add to the “Minnie” look since they resemble her staple polka dots.
