Revenge of The Mummy is back open after a short range refurbishment. The popular ride at Universal Studios closed January 4th and reopened yesterday (January 16th). According to Amusement Insider on Twitter, the treasure room has a new projector and the sound in the room appears to be improved.
The biggest change is the new animation in the turntable section, totally redone (and a little less nolstalgic than before, & almost TOO animated now) but it’s a huge welcome. Plus the timing of the animation is now exact in line with your vehicle turn, which is great news.

It seems like Revenge of The Mummy has some minor upgrades with some large impact. We can’t wait to visit and see them all for ourselves. Currently, Jurassic Park River Adventure is down for refurbishment and The Hogwarts Express closes on January 21st. You can see the full schedule here.
