See Everyone Who has Starred in Both Star Wars and Marvel Projects. You may be able to name a few easy ones right off the bat, but did you know there are nearly three dozen actors who have been featured in both Star Wars and Marvel movies and shows to date? Check out the current list of actors and production team members who have appeared in projects for both studios:
Gina Carano – Gina Carano plays the role of Cara Dune in Star Wars: The Mandalorian and is said to be in talks to star in her own spin-off series, potentially Rangers of the New Republic. Carano played Angel, Ajax’s hitman and assistant in Deadpool.
Ming-Na Wen – Disney Legend Ming-Na Wen plays mercenary Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian and will reprise her role for several other Star Wars projects in the works. Wen also appeared as Agent Melinda May in ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Rosario Dawson – In Netflix’s Daredevil and Luke Cage Rosario Dawson plays nurse Claire Temple. Dawson recently made the live-action debut of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian series and reportedly signed on for multiple Star Wars projects currently in the works.
Daniel Glover – Glover appears in a small appearance as Miles Morales uncle Aaron Davis, aka Prowler in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Daniel also plays the younger version of Lando Calrissian in Solo: A Star Wars Story and may potentially reprise the role for future Star Wars projects.
Oscar Isaac – Oscar Isaac played flyboy Poe Dameron in the Star Wars sequels and will have played two characters from Marvel: Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse and as Marc Spector in the upcoming Marvel Studios series Moon Knight coming to Disney+.
Natalie Portman – Natalie Portman played the iconic roles of Padmé Amidala in the Star Wars prequels and is set to reprise her role as Jane Foster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the upcoming title Thor: Love and Thunder.
Samuel L. Jackson – Though he is iconic and recognizable in almost any role, Samuel L. Jackson is featured as Head of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury throughout the MCU. Jackson also is the only notable character to wield a purple lightsaber in the Star Wars prequels as Jedi Master Mace Windu.
Paul Bettany – Paul Bettany voiced JARVIS in the Iron Man films and has moved on to playing Vision throughout the various Avengers films as well as in the new series WandaVision coming to Disney+. Bettany also plays Crimson Dawn leader Dryden Vos in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Mads Mikkelsen – In Star Wars: Rogue One, Mads Mikkelsen plays Jyn’s father Galen Erso, who designed the Death Star for the Empire. Mikkelsen also starred as Kaecillus in Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange.
Lupita Nyong’o – In the Star Wars Sequels, Lupita Nyong’o voices the CGI’d character Maz Kanata and helps the rebellion cause. Nyong’o also portrays Nakia, a fierce freedom fighters activist, and a rekindled flame of T’Challa in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther.
Felicity Jones – Jones starred as Jyn Erso in Star Wars: Rogue One, but also appeared as their, Black Cat in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Forest Whitaker – Forest Whitaker took on the role of Saw Gerrera in Star Wars: Rogue One and Star Wars: Rebels. Whitaker also played Zuri, council to the king of Wakanda in Black Panther.
Ben Mendelsohn – Mendelsohn played the shapeshifting Talos in Marvel’s Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home. In Star Wars: Rogue One Ben played Imperial Officer Orson Krennic.
Donnie Yen – Donnie Yen played Snowman the vampire in Blade II long before his role as Chirrut Îmwe in Star Wars: Rogue One.
Hannah John-Kamen – In Ant-Man and the Wasp Hannah John-Kamen played Ava/Ghost and made an appearance as a First Order bridge officer in the Star Wars sequels.
Woody Harrelson – Harrelson plays Tobias Beckett in Solo: A Star Wars Story and is reportedly playing an unnamed villain in Venom II: There Will Be Carnage.
Ben Schwartz – Parks and Recreation star Ben Schwartz made a masked cameo appearance as a Stormtrooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and is voicing M.O.D..O.K.’s son Lou on Hulu’s M.O.D.O.K. series.
Benicio del Toro – Benicio del Toro played the flamboyant Taneleer Tivan, aka The Collector, in the Guardians of the Galaxy films as well as in Avengers: Infinity War. Del Toro also played the Code Breaker called “DJ” in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Richard Armitage – Though he appeared as. a background character in Queen Amidala’s entourage/guard in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Richard also played the role of Hydra Agent Heinz Kruger in Captain America: The First Avenger.
Ken Leung – Lost star Ken Leung played the role of Karnak in Marvel and ABC’s Inhumans. Leung also played Admiral Statura in the Star Wars sequels.
Spencer Wilding – Though James Earl Jones has cornered the market as the Voice of Darth Vader, Spencer Wilding was the body double for the role in Star Wars: Rogue One and portrayed the guard who was sorting and storing the personal items of the Guardians in the Guardians of the Galaxy film and was seen trying on Peter Quill’s headphones and listening to his Awesome Mix Vol. 1.
Rose Bryne – In the Star Wars prequels, Rose Bryne appeared as one of Padmé’s handmaidens named Dormé. Bryne would later play CIA agent Moira MacTaggert in both X-Men: First Class and X-Men: Apocalypse.
Jessica Henwick – Jessica Henwick played martial arts expert Colleen Wing in Netflix’s Iron Fist and appears as a resistance pilot in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Ray Park – Ray Park brought Darth Maul to life in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace as the performer on screen though another actor voiced the iconic villain. Park also played Toad in the first X-Men film.
Peter Serafinowicz – In Star Wars the Phantom Menace, Peter Serafinowicz voiced the iconic villain, Darth Maul and made a brief appliance as Nova Corp High Ranking Officer Denarian Saal in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Terence Stamp – Terence Stamp played Chancellor Valorum who was replaced by Chancellor Palpatine in the Star Wars Prequels. Stamp also played Stick in the Netflix Elektra series.
Stellan Skarsgård – Stellan Skarsgård was featured in the Thor and Avengers films as Professor Erik Selvig in the MCU. Reportedly Skarsgård will star in the upcoming Star Wars series Andor coming to Disney+.
Richard E. Grant – Richard E. Grant made his Star Wars debut in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker as General Pryde and is reportedly cast in a mysterious role in the upcoming Marvel Studios series Loki coming to Disney+.
Cailey Fleming – Cailey Fleming brought Young Rey to life in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and is reportedly cast as the Young Sylvie/Enchantress in the upcoming Marvel series Loki coming to Disney+.
Taika Waititi – Award-winning director Taika Waititi has worked on the Thor films as director and as the fan-favorite character Korg. Waititi also joined The Mandalorian team as a director and the voice of the droid IG-11 in the series.
Andy Serkis – Andy Serkis is in many different franchises and is a fantastic all-around actor. Serkis plays antagonist Ulysses Klaw in Marvel Studios’ Black Panther and Supreme Leader Snoke in the Star Wars sequels.
Jon Favreau – Jon Favreau played best friend and security manager for Tony Stark/Iron Man Happy Hogan in various Marvel Studios projects. Favreau is also the showrunner for Star Wars The Mandalorian as well as several other projects in the works at Lucasfilm. Favreau also made a cameo appearance as a fellow Mandalorian in The Mandalorian season 1 and voiced the character, Rio Durant, in Solo: A Star Wars Story.
