‘Aladdin‘ Musical was secretly filmed with international performers for Disney+ Release. According to the DisInsider, Disney’s Aladdin: Live from the West End has reportedly been filmed in secret and is set for a Disney+ release this spiring!
The reported filming is said to contain talent from various casts including London, New York, the US Tour, and Australia. Reportedly the filmed cast includes: Ansley Melham (Aladdin), Trevor Dion Nicholas (Genie), Isabelle McCalla (Jasmine), Jonathan Freeman (Jafar), Don Daryll Riviera (Iago), Irvine Iqbal (Sultan), Brian Gonzales (Babkak), Brandon O’Neill (Kassim), and Robert Tripolino (Omar).
Disney has yet confirm a film adaption of the musical for the streaming service, but if the rumors are true, but it is believed we could see the performance join the Disney+ library as early as April 2021!
Disney+ subscribers have also been gunning for other Disney Musicals such as Frozen, The Lion King, and Mary Poppins with some even sharing they would love to see revivals of older adaptions such as Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, and more.
