Earlier this fall Disney announced it would be laying off 28,000 employees across the company. It was announced Wednesday that 4,000 more employees will be let go.
Disney filed a 10-K with the government saying it plans to terminate 32,000 employees during the first half of the 2021 fiscal year. Most of those employees are going to come from the Parks, Experiences and Products departments. A Disney spokesperson said the new figure of 32,000 includes the previously announced park layoffs of 28,000.
