Those driving to Disney’s Magic Kingdom will find a new sight upon entering the toll plaza. Disney is currently refurbishing the Magic Kingdom toll plaza to prepare for Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.
The Magic Kingdom toll plaza is a recognizable sight for many eager Disney guests arriving at the theme park. The welcoming entrance represents the start of everyone’s fantastic day.
The toll plaza is getting a bold paint color since Cinderella Castle now has a bold blue color on the spirals. Cinderella Castle received a magical makeover this year to give a fresh appearance to the iconic Disney Park.
It may seem like a minor modification to change the aesthetic of the parking lot toll plaza to some. But the new paint color and appearance shows Disney remains hopeful for the 50th anniversary in 2021. Next year, Disney guests will be able to ride the upcoming TRON Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland!
