Florida Re-Open Task Force meeting to discuss timetable on ‘How Theme Parks Can Re-Open’

The Florida Re-Open Taskforce that Walt Disney World President Josh D’Amaro is apart of is meeting today to discuss the timetable on how Theme Parks like Disney World and Universal Studios can re-open.

According to Spectrum News 13, some of the items on their agenda are:

• Timetable for theme parks reopening
• The reopening of theme parks will have to be gradual and how to keep everyone safe
• How Florida State residents should be first, then national, and international visitors

Gov. Ron DeSantis wants those recommendations by the end of this week on how and when Florida Theme Parks should reopen.

The COVID-19 closures have all taken a huge hit on the state’s tourism industry and hotels.
