Disney Legend Randy Newman writes a social distancing song

Just like most of us, Disney Legend Randy Newman is stuck indoors. Recently a California Radio station (KPCC) asked Randy to share a social distancing message, instead of sharing a message he wrote a song instead!

The new social distancing song is called Stay Away. In the song, he reminds people to stay at least 6 feet away from each other and to wash their hands often.

“It’s hard for Americans, they don’t like being told what to do at all,” he said. “But in this case, let’s do it. We’ll be alright.”

“I wish everyone well and I wish myself well to some extent,” Newman added. “Stay safe.”
