Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks Return Home to the US and are Recovering from Coronavirus. Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are confirmed to have returned to the US and are feeling better two weeks after being diagnosed with COVID-19, aka Coronavirus. The pair were spotted driving an SUV in Los Angeles, CA and heading home to rest up and practice social distancing to prevent the spread to others.
Tom confirmed the news via his twitter account sharing, “Hey, Folks… We’re home now and, like the rest of America, we carry on with shelter in place and social distancing. Many, many thanks to everyone in Australia who looked after us.. Their care and guidance made possible our return to the USA. And many thanks to all of you who reached out with well wishes. Rita and I so appreciate it. Hanx”

Tom and Rita had previously share a joint statement regarding their health and how we can help prevent the spread of COVID-19:
“Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we feel better. Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone — You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no?” he wrote. “Going to take awhile, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts… this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out.”
