The Guardians of the Galaxy Will Appear in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder‘. Marvel Fans have been curious about the path of Thor after the events of Avengers: Endgame and his departure to traverse space with The Guardians of the Galaxy as they search for Gamora, but could they be searching for something else? Apparently we will not have to wait for Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3 to see the Guardians back in action!
According to Vin Diesel (Groot) some of the Guardians are set to appear in Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder before the release of GotG:Vol 3.
“I am waiting and excited for my friend James Gunn to knock this next one out of the park,” Diesel said during an interview to promote his upcoming film, Bloodshot. “He took The Suicide Squad so he’s about to embark on it. Thor will also, the director talked to me about Thor [Love and Thunder] will incorporate some of the Guardians of the Galaxy.” Vin Diesel immediately caught his slip and played it off with, “That’ll be very interesting, nobody knows, maybe I shouldn’t have said anything.”
This confirmation is new information to Marvel Fans, but not the first bit of news that had slipped this week regarding the film, including Tessa Thompson sharing that Christian Bale will be the big villain for Love and Thunder.
It is currently unknown which of the Guardians will appear in the film, or how much of the characters we will get to see, since the premise for the film will likely take focus on Jane Foster becoming Lady Thor. Disney and Marvel have yet to comment on the matter, but it seems this news slipped through the cracks.
