Former WDW Cast Member Files Lawsuit after ‘Retaliation’ for Reporting Sexual Harassment. A former cast member who reportedly worked at The Hollywood Brown Derby restaurant and Woody’s Lunch Box at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has filed a lawsuit against the company after she claims she was wrongfully terminated due to retaliations for reporting sexual harassment from a supervisor and fellow staff.
The former cast member worked for the company between May and August 2018 before she was terminated for allegedly false accusations and retaliation from management for filing a sexual harassment complaint against her supervisor, claiming their was inappropriate and non-consensual touching as well as sexual and derogatory comments made towards her during her shifts with the company.
According to the report, she also claims her work schedule was changed without her knowledge in attempts to punish her as well as being improperly trained, causing her to make safety violations that were used to get her wrongfully terminated. She also claims she was falsely accused of drug usage to assist in the termination.
The former Cast Member is looking for reimbursement for lost wages and benefits and awards for compensatory and punitive damages, reinstatement, according to the court documents.
