The highly anticipated sequel of the year, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, is just days away from its box office release. One of the stars of the film even gave fans a surprise of a lifetime at the Happiest Place on Earth.
The Disneyland Resort is hosting a special sneak peek of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil at Disney California Adventure Park.
At the Sunset Showcase Theater, Elle Fanning, who plays Aurora, surprised guests after their sneak peek viewing. Elle reprises her role, in the film’s second installment, as Aurora, Queen of the Moors.
Fanning also met with a few lucky Maleficent fans in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle for a photo.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil takes viewers on a journey back to the enchanted Moors where Prince Phillip asks for Aurora’s hand in marriage. Against her godmother’s disapproval, Aurora says yes. Now, the two must learn how to marry two kingdoms together in peace and harmony. Not all goes to plan as there is an impending doom looming over the union.
Don’t forget to catch a sneak peek of the feature film at the Sunset Showcase Theater at the Disneyland Resort and at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil hits theaters on October 18.
