Famous for making memories with their pony rides and housing “The Happiest Horses on Earth”, as Disney has announced a new barn at Tri-Circle-D ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort for all their equine cast members! The photo courtesy of Disney reveals the concept art for the new barn. From the photo it appears as though the Imagineers have redesigned the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, offering the horses a modern stable as well as updating the outdoor space. The new ranch will maintain the history and spirit of the original Tri-Circle-D ranch. The new barn will welcome guests to explore the classic Disney equestrian artefacts, some of which date back to the 1950s!
Changes will commence on the 19th of August as the Draft Horse Barn and Pony Farm will be temporarily inaccessible to guests until the new barn is revealed in Spring 2020! Budding cowboys and cowgirls do not fear- for guests can still enjoy the beloved pony rides at Trail Blaze Corral near the campground’s entrance and the resort’s trail and carriage rides will operate as normal.
