Special Edition Lion King Plush Supporting The WCN Lion Recovery Fund

To celebrate the release of the new live action version of The Lion King, Disney has launched a global campaign to raise awareness of the crisis facing lions. When Special Edition Lion King Plush toys of Simba and Nala are sold globally, Disney will donate US $5 to the Wildlife Conservation Network in support of the Lion Recovery Fund and its local partners.

The campaign will support the Lion Recovery Fund and its partners to help advance conservation across Africa, including the goal to double the number of lions in the wild by 2050. The Special Edition Simba and Nala plush are now available at Disney Stores, shopDisney, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom! They will also be found at additional locations at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort beginning July 1st. Each of the 40,000 plush toys, represents one of the lions whose future Disney and the Lion Recovery Fund are working to ensure.

Celebrate the ruler of the Pride Lands and Disney’s The Lion King 2019 film with the beautifully constructed Simba and Nala push in vivid hues. The special plush toys features embroidered details with faux suede fabrication on the face, feet, tail and ears.

Wildlife Conservation Network’s Lion Recovery Fund supports a variety of organizations working across Africa to benefit people, wildlife and habitats.
